Inter coach Claudio Ranieri received some welcome news as Lucio has recovered from his leg injury earlier than expected. However, Cristian Chivu and Wesley Sneijder will miss the clash on Saturday due to injury while Javier Zanetti is suspended after picking up the first red card of his Serie A career last weekend. Diego Forlan is still nursing an injury and is not yet ready to return to the fold.

Fiorentina boss Delio Rossi does not have too many injury worries but will be without the services of influential defenders Mattia Cassani and Per Kroldrup at the weekend.
