Bundesliga Preview: Borussia Dortmund - Hamburg
The German top flight kicks off its new season as the defending champions take on potential dark horses HSV at Signal Iduna Park

Weidenfeller; Piszczek, Subotic, Hummels, Lowe; Bender, Gundogan; Gotze, Kagawa, Grosskreutz; Lewandowski
Marcel Schmelzer is back in training but the defender not quite fit to play, nor is substitute right-back Patrick Owomoyela. Jurgen Klopp will have to make a tactical decision between Sven Bender and Sebastian Kehl in defensive midfield. Long-term casualties Lucas Barrios, Julian Koch and Marvin Bakalorz are still a few weeks or more from being fit, and are ruled out.
Drobny; Diekmeier, Mancienne, Westermann, Aogo; Kacar, Jarolim; Tore, Son, Elia; Petric
Michael Oenning has decided on the majority of his squad, but there are two question marks outstanding: either Gojko Kacar or Tomas Rincon will start in defensive midfield, and in the centre of attack behind Mladen Petric there is still uncertainty as to whether Heung-Min Son or Jose Paolo Guerrero will be given the nod. Jeffrey Bruma is not expected to make the matchday squad, and will likely join Jacopo Sala, Miroslav Stepanek, Tolgay Arslan and Marcus Berg in the stands. New signing Per Skjelbred also has been omitted from the squad.

Tipped by some to be the Bundesliga's player of the year, the youngster has looked superb in pre-season and will be keen to jump out of the gate with a convincing performance against some difficult opposition.
Just 19 years of age, the South Korean has proven himself under Michael Oenning and looks to be on the verge of a real breakthrough season. He already scored twice on Bayern Munich in a test match; now he has a chance to convince on the grand stage as the season begins.
Both teams had successful pre-season runs, but when they met in the Liga TOTAL! Cup, BVB were decidedly better. Even short of a couple starters, the defending champions should be favourites to start their season on a high note.
