Liverpool doing most of the pressing in the closing stages here, Suarez has two shots blocked

Into the last ten minutes here. Still no real sign of either side scoring, very much going through the motions here

Sub Dirk Kuyt makes an immediate impact. Dancing past two men down the right hand side and crosses to Carroll but his shot is easily saved by Vorm

It's getting pretty sloppy now. Both sides look tired and have struggled to put anything dangerous togetherin the last ten minutes or so

62′
Swansea taking back some momentum here and win a couple of corners but they cant convert

61′
Substitution Stewart Downing Craig Bellamy

55′
A save from Vorm keeps the scores level, both sides have been frustrated up until that point, neither team giving anything away

50′
Liverpool already looking better in this half, seeing far more of the ball and moving it around nicely

46′
Teams are late coming out but we are back underway now

Half time here at the Liberty - 0-0. Swansea have been much the better side and should be ahead, Dyer missing a good chance jsut before the break. In a fair game that late exchange between Carroll and Williams really came out of the blue

45′ +2
Halsey books both Carroll and Williams. Reply shows that Carroll pushed Williams by the shoulder/neck

45′ +1
Yellow Card Ashley Williams

45′ +1
Yellow Card Andy Carroll

45′ +1
Out of nowhere we have a brawl. Andy Carroll is tackled by Ashley Williams and the pair wrestle to the ground, what will Mark Halsey make of this?

43′
Another good chance for Swansea! A neat passing move sees Dyer with the ball ten yards out but he fires his shot at the feet of Doni

39′
Liverpool respond immediately, Andy Carroll climbs highest to meet a Maxi cross but cant get enough power to test Vorm

38′
Swansea left back Neil Taylor makes a move down the left and collects the ball. After cutting in onto his right foot his curled effort is easily saved by Doni

33′
Great save from Doni. Sigurdsson tried to catch him out with a powerful effort but he got down well and tipped it wide

31′
Free kick just outside the box for Swansea after a clumsy foul by Jonjo Shelvey in the air

26′
This is starting to open up slightly now, a few balls over the top allowing both sets of strikers in but the defending so far has been good at both ends

20′
Swansea still looking the better team holding the ball well and Leon Britton breaking down the Liverpool advances

14′
First opportunity for Liverpool. good work down the left from Stuart Downing plays in Maxi but his effort slices comfortably wide.

11′
Referee adjudges Doni to have received a back pass and gives a freekick inside the Liverpool area. Sinclairs effort is blocked on route to goal.

8′
Good chance for Swansea! Agger is caught in possession by Allen, he cant decide whetehr to shoot or cross and in the end his effort goes wide and out of reach of the on rushing Graham

6′
Liverpool sitting deep and letting Swansea have the ball and so far the home side have struggled to force their way into the visitors half

3′
Swansea, unsurprisingly having all the early possession, Dyer is fed down the right wing but cant keep his cross in play

1′
We are underway at the Liberty! Liverpool kick off and are playing from left to right in the first half

Out come the players, great reception from the fans and it's a fantastically sunny day in Swansea, everything in place for a good game this afternoon here

Liverpool Doni; Johnson, Agger, Carragher, Kelly; Downing, Henderson, Shelvey, Maxi; Suarez, Carroll

Swansea Vorm; Rangel, Williams, Caulker, Taylor; Dyer, Allen, Britton, Sinclair; Sigurdsson; Graham

As for the teams the home side have made one change from their 2-0 loss to Manchester United. Leon Britton is now fully fit and comes in for Mark Gower. For Liverpool goalkeeper Doni comes in for Pepe Reina who is ill while Martin Kelly replaces Martin Skrtel in defence.

As for Liverpool it has ultimately been a disappointing year despite winning silverware. The Carling cup isn’t enough to hide their poor league form which sees them scrapping for 7th place at best, they will want to also end on a high and go into the summer with some positivity.

It’s been an incredible first season for the Swans in the Premier League, comfortably avoiding relegation and earning high praise for their eye catching football. They will be keen to put on a show today and provide a fitting send off for their fans.
