Got out like lightning to block Matri's one-on-one effort in the first-half, having had very little to do before then. Did well thereafter and was unfortunate to be beaten by Scaloni's deflection as Juve snatched the win.
Stood up to Matri's threat in the air, with the striker's only chance coming from Lichtsteiner's error.
A comfortable enough performance from the former Palermo and Genoa defender, who shook off the advanced runs of Aquilani while winning many aerial tussles with Matri.
Applied himself well against Krasic at the back for most of the night, with the Serb having few clear chances to supply Matri.
Got down the right well, causing Fabio Grosso plenty of trouble, but his miscued defensive header put in Matri for what should have been the first goal. Could easily have had a couple of assists from crosses from the bye-line though.
Matuzalem put in a typically determined shift in the midfield as Lazio held the ascendancy in the centre of the pitch for long spells. His powerful running gave Juve headaches too.
Lazio's most likely matchwinner, despite not being at the very top of his game tonight. His highlight came with a fantastic late drive which Buffon did very well to keep out.
On another night he could have had a hat-trick. His late arrivals at the back post brought about two particularly good chances, but he failed to hit the target with a header and a left-foot volley.
His array of passing and steely determination kept Lazio on top for much of the first-half, and had it been anybody other than Brocchi on the end of it, his superb cross from the right would surely have resulted in a goal. Blotted his copybook with a second yellow, and Pepe made him pay.
Marshalled well by the Juve defence, but he got into a scoring position late in the first half only to see Buffon make an excellent reaction block.
Buzzed around all over the place and caused nightmares for Marco Motta, but failed to provide an end product. It was only natural he be removed after the red card, but his energetic play was missed late on.
Safe. The Italy captain stood strong as Floccari was allowed to get a shot in one-on-one and then flew to his right to keep out Hernanes after the break.
Matched Floccari for most of the night, though he was very very fortunate not to be penalised and sent off when he clipped the striker in the area at 0-0.
Too rarely did he stop Lichtsteiner's marauding runs, and but for poor finishing Juve would have been punished for Grosso's sleepiness.
Another unconvincing display from the full-back as he failed to keep a tight rein on Zarate. He lasted 70 minutes before he was replaced by Salihamidzic.
Did a decent job on Floccari when needed, but he found it very difficult to keep an eye on Zarate.
His dogged determination is too often underrated, and it was that which saw him make a run in behind to collect Salihamidzic's cross and fire home a deflected winner.
Not his best game for Juventus, as he was too often left a passenger by Lazio's Ledesma and Matuzalem. Got better after the break, but he can and will play better than this again.
For somebody who was so regularly fantastic in the first half of the season, he has remained inconsistent throughout the ritorno. Tonight he got in behind Garrido only a couple of times and from there his crossing was left wanting.
To say his side hardly saw the ball in midfield, the Brazilian put in a magnificent shift and in the second half he was the key behind much of their better play. He was even the one bursting forward to force Ledesma into the red card tackle which changed the game.
Should have done better when put in by Lichtsteiner's mistake late in the first half, and it proved to be his only real opportunity before being replaced by Toni.
A. Del Piero
The skipper continues to work hard despite his lessening physical capabilities and he was able to keep the Lazio backline on their toes for much of the match.
- 12 T. Berni
Unfortunate to see his deflection from Pepe's shot beat keeper Muslera after replacing Biava.
- 15 Á. González
Replaced Zarate when Lazio were forced to bolster their midfield after Ledesma's red card.
- 81 S. Del Nero
A late replacement for Brocchi as Lazio tried in vain to grab a late equaliser.
- 9 T. Rocchi
- 13 A. Manninger
- 17 A. Traoré
- 43 F. Sørensen
Came on for Del Piero in injury time.
A mixed showing after replacing Motta. First he was booked within 30 seconds, then he miskicked a clearance up against Matuzalem. But his response was to pick up an assist on Pepe's winner.
- 36 M. Giandonato
Led the line well after replacing Matri before inadvertently allowing Pepe to score when he missed his kick on Salihamidzic's cross.
