After being left out in the cold under the previous regime, centre-back Abdoulaye Meite has enjoyed a renaissance under manager Roy Hodgson.

The Ivory Coast international has started the Baggies' last two games and has added some much needed steel. With Arsenal on the hunt for a crucial win to get their campaign back on track, he will have to be at his sharpest on Saturday.
Sébastien Squillaci

Sebastien Squillaci has impressed few Arsenal fans since his cut-price summer. The ex-Sevilla player has looked a less than reliable reserve but manager Arsene Wenger will need him to step up due to the long-term injury to Djourou.

Despite conflicting reports about the Switzerland international's fitness, he is expected to be out for the rest of the season. Squillaci must not repeat horror moments such as his own goal against Wigan Athletic if the Gunners are to reel in league leaders Manchester United.

With both sides desperate for the win and with doubts in defence, there should be goals galore at The Hawthorns. Arsenal's superior attack should see them edge a helter-skelter contest.
