An inspirational performance from the former Roma defender. A rock at the back and even found the energy to break forward and then set up Nocerino for the third goal.
Was a strong presence in the first half but had to be replaced by Goian at half-time.

It's not often the in demand Pastore is not the star of the show, but tonight was one of those nights. This was still an influential performance, however.
The Palermo hero opened the scoring in the first half and buzzed about causing the Roma rearguard all sorts of problems.
Could not really be blamed for any of the goals but did deny Ilicic and Pastore with impressive stops.

Was very quiet tonight. Got on the ball more after Pizarro was replaced but struggled to stamp his authority on the game.
Was Roma's best player in the first half. Was always available to take a pass and kept feeding his more advanced team-mates with the ball.
The French wide-man was given a free role but flatters to deceive. Ran at opponents and always looked to get on the ball but struggled to find a final ball.
Had little to work with up front and will be frustrated by the lack of service he was given.
'Er Purpone' looked to be in the mood in the early stages but faded as Palermo took control in the second half. Scored a late consolation with a well-taken goal.
