After a solo minute of added time Milan head in to the locker rooms with their noses in front...Allegri's men are well worth their lead and could be left to regret some poor finishing following a spectacular opener from Pirlo...Parma will have to throw far more caution to the wind after the break if they are to re-open the encounter.
Marques looks to play a clever ball into the box but Thiago Silva is equal to it as he reads the move to perfection...The Rossoneri are looking controlled at the back as they run few risks in front of goal.
Pirlo floats a splendid ball forward into the path of Antonini...The full-back takes a great touch inside but fails to carve out a shot as the ball whips past the goalmouth.
Pirlo is back on the back on the ball and feeds Ibrahimovic who drops deep...The former Inter man looks to play a clever one-two with Ronaldinho but the Parma backline reads the move and steps up just in time.
The Gialloblu clear their lines but seem to be lacking ideas now in attack...Allegri's side are working hard to press the ball and keep the home side from nearing the box.
Parma are pinned back in their own third now as Milan get forward in numbers...There is little space available for the Rossoneri as they opt to go down the middle rather than cross from the flanks.
Ibrahimovic is set free towards the box...With Mirante advancing the Swede looks to shoot low...Great save by the glovesman...The ball falls into the path of the hitman once again however but he can only drive a second effort into the legs of the goalkeeper...What a chance for Milan to have doubled their lead!
The Rossoneri look in control now as the work the ball around at the back..Pirlo is proving influential as ever as he provides the spark behind the attacking phase.
Pirlo looks for Ibrahimovic with a long range pass..The ball ends up in the path of Mirante and the Swede apologises to his team-mate for reading the move late...Pasquale Marino is up off the bench clearly not happy with Parma's dip in tempo.
Candreva launches another free kick forward from range and the ball again finishes high over the bar...The Tardini faithful don't hold back their disapproval as they let out a round of whistles.
Milan break forward once again through Ronaldinho...The Brazilian lofts a wonderful ball over the top for Robinho who shoots first time...Saved by MIrante...The Rossoneri have finally found their groove.
Pirlo cuts inside from the left and looks up before taking a shot from range...GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL...What a drive that was...Mirante had no chance as the ball rocketed into the top corner from at least 25 yards...Milan have the lead!!!

Gattuso downs Morrone on the halfway line and goes into the book for a useless challenge...The tackle highlights the frustration of the Rossoneri captain as his side fail to get forward in numbers.

Zaccardo comes in hard on Ibrahimovic and gifts the Rossoneri a free kick...The Swede has really become a centre point for Milan's approach play in just over a month of football and the home side are clearly prepared to do anything to keep him from goal.
Milan are back in possession but seem to be lacking the final pass which would unlock the home side...The pace of the sides has dipped somewhat as the game starts to turn into a midfield battle.
Ibrahimovic creates some space on the edge of the box and hits a low drive towards the bottom corner....Mirante smothers the danger, but Parma must be careful not to allow the Swede such space to shoot.

The Gialloblu win another free kick inside the visitors half and are growing in confidence after having gone close...The Rossoneri are now being forced to chase as they look to win back possession.

The Ducali are looking bright down the flank and find space down the right...Allegri's men are taking no chances as the keep tight on Crespo.
