Helpess for all three goals, but did very well to guess the right corner as he denied Jose Antonio Reyes from the spot. A memorable game by the goalkeeper.
His positioning let him down and how! All three goals came from his zone and offered virtually nothing in attack, too.
Ripped apart by Diego Costa. All three of the Brazilian's goals were result of his poor positional sense. His sending off was a fitting end to a miserable game by the defender.
Relatively solid at the back, but offered fairly little in an attacking sense. Picked up a nasty injury.
The more stable of the two centre-halves. Made a few great clearances and blocks, but was booked for a blatant dive.
Tackled hard and sprayed the ball well from the centre of the pitch. Very good penalty conversion for Osasuna's second goal of the night, too.
Very active in attack today as he sprayed the ball well and had a few inspiring runs. Unlucky not to score in the 92nd minute with a great shot.
Troubled Atletico Madrid's defence with his physical stature and had a great header blocked by David De Gea in the 52nd minute. Failed to put the ball past the goalkeeper twice in the 17th minute.
Had a quiet night in the centre of the pitch. Covered a lot of ground, but lost the upper hand after the break .
Influential in the first half with some great passes. Assisted Kike Sola's opener, but faded away somewhat after the break.
Scored with a fine finish and had a great first half. He did not offer much after the break, but admittedly did not receive much support either.
Had two brilliant moments in this game - the first one his double block on Soriano in the 17th minute and the second his save on Soriano again in the 52nd minute. He might have sold himself to Manchester United tonight.
At fault for Kike Sola's goal as he failed to track the striker. A couple of minor errors for him to add to that in what was a fairly average game for the defender.
Had a decent game tonight, although he overdid things quite a bit. Reckless tackling at times and questionable positioning, too.
What a great way to return to Pamplona! Two assist for the ex-Osasuna man in a great performance. Passed the ball well and made a few magnificent runs. Left the pitch to the sound of a standing ovation from the stands.
Fairly minimal contribution in attack by the ex-Fiorentina man, but a stable performance at the back. Never looked like being troubled in defence.
Caught flat-footed in the build-up to Kike Sola's opener, but generally hardly put a foot wrong. Solid defensively, but pretty quiet in attack.
José Antonio Reyes
Miserable outing for the Seville native. Failed to influence the game in any way and on top of it all he missed a penalty he earned himself with a very bad dive. A night to forget for Reyes.
Had a decent game out on the left wing, although his end product was pretty much missing. Did a lot of running, but drifted to the centre way too often.
Assisted Diego Costa's third with a delightful through ball and generally looked very good in possession. Made a few telling passes and tackled hard in the centre of the pitch.
Ruined a great performance with an unnecessary handball in the penalty area which stopped a harmless free-kick from going past the wall. Tackled hard and ran a lot, but giving away the penalty lowers his rating tonight.
Justified his start ahead of Diego Forlan with a superb hat-trick. The ex-Celta man was ruthless in front of goal and converted almost every chance he got tonight. A top performance from the striker.
