FULL-TIME! Barcelona earn another easy victory as they run out 4-1 victors against Malaga. The champions go four points clear after Real Madrid's draw with Almeria earlier. Barcelona dominated the first-half but took their foot off the pedal in the second period. Malaga didn't play too badly but looked toothless in attacks. That's it from us tonight at Goal.com. I've been Luke Matthews and on a personal level, i've covered four Barcelona games this season and seen 22 goals. amazing stuff. Goodnight and god bless.

90′
IT SHOULD BE FIVE! A breakaway from Bojan sees the striker play the ball to Afellay who crosses for Messi. However the 'keeper brilliantly gets a hand to it before Villa's rebound is saved by the shotstopper on loan from Atletico Madrid.

89′
Barcelona are having all of the possession and showing some good build-up play but Malaga have defended resolutely in this second period and look determined not to be another team concede five against Barcelona.

86′
Adriano goes for goal after a quick corner but his left-footed effort is high and wide.

84′
Barcelona are seeing all of the ball at the moment as Bojan's ball fails to find Villa in the box. Good opportunity missed.

82′
Substitution Andrés Iniesta Luján Ibrahim Afellay

82′
Substitution Pedro Bojan Krkic

81′
Villa looks to play an early ball into the box for Pedro but Weligton intercepts the cross. Pedro and Iniesta make way for the two substitutes.

80′
It has to be said that Barcelona have been pretty wasteful at times, this time Villa mis-controlling the ball. Afellay and Bojan are coming on for the home team.

78′
Substitution Camacho Recio

77′
Barcelona are in complete control once again after Malaga had a 10 minute spell of keeping the ball well. Can they make it five?

76′
Yellow Card Éric Abidal

74′
Assist Xavi

74′
Goal David Villa

74′
4-1! EASY FOR VILLA! Xavi slips a precise throughball to the striker who rounds the 'keeper before sliding the ball into the empty net. Malaga players are appealing for offside but Weligton was playing Villa onside.

73′
BRILLIANT RUN FROM PEDRO! The winger showsquick feet to get clear of Malaga defenders before he attempts to play a ball to Busquets for a tap-in.However Weligton intercepts the pass.

70′
Comeback on the cards maybe? Probably not but at least Malaga have put in a decent account of themselves this second-half.

68′
Goal Duda

68′
GOL MALAGA! 3-1! It's Duda who takes the free-kick and his wonderful left-foot curls the ball into the top corner with Valdes getting nowhere near it.

67′
Baptista is brought down on the edge of the area by Busquets. The Brazilian will surely fancy this.

65′
First shot on target for Malaga but it's never going to trouble Valdes. Danish left-back Mtiliga does a few fancy step-overs before getting hios shot away on the corner of the box. However it's straight at Valdes.

63′
Malaga are struggling to create anything in this one. Eliseu looks to counter-attack and after some decent play by Duda on the left the ball is played Rondon who is too weak on the ball as Pique disposesses him with ease.

62′
More good build-up gifts Adriano the opportunity to whip in a cross. However it's a poor one as Demichelis puts the ball out for a corner.

60′
Substitution Quincy Owusu-Abeyie Rondón

60′
Substitution Vincenzo Maresca Eliseu

59′
A lot less urgency from Barca in the second-half who look content with their three goal lead. Eliseu and Rondon come on for Malaga.

56′
Not much, the first man clears the ball for Malaga who have defended well so far in the second half.

55′
Adriano is doing a pretty decent job down the right, this time playing it to Pedro who is then brought down by Mtiliga. Pedro free-kick on the right, what can he do?

52′
Villa breaks into the box but his low cross is cut out by Weligton and put out for a corner which Barcelona waste.

51′
SHOCK HORROR! XAVI GIVES THE BALL AWAY The midfielder loses possession after some good build-up play from his teammates. Please people, remember the date and time because this probably won't happen again...ever.

49′
Messi shows off those magic feet one again to get past three Malaga defenders and into the box but then gets crowded out and dispossessed by Demichelis who is having a fairly decent game despite his side conceding three.

48′
Decent start to the second half by Malaga who are seeing more of the ball. Unfortunately Baptista is struggling to hold the ball up at the moment, the Brazilian will need to do better.

46′
We're back underway here with Malaga immediately giving the ball to Barcelona. Can the Andulusian's get an early goal?

HALF-TIME! What can be said that hasn't already been said about this wonderful team? They have been all over Malaga and deservedly lead 3-0 at the break. A four point lead at the top of La Liga is on the cards. At this rate will this team drop that many points this season? Probably not. Join us in 15 minutes for what promises to be an exciting second-half (well for Barca fans at least).

44′
Great play by Messi who works his way past several Malaga defenders before seeing his shot from a tight angle saved once again by Asenjo. A battle emerging between this two and the 'keeper is doing well so far.

42′
VERY GOOD SAVE FROM ASENJO! Villa plays a ball across the box that Xavi wisely leaves for an unmarked Messi. The Argentinian is one on one with Asenjo who brilliantly stands up and turns the ball around the post for a corner. Where was the Malaga defence?

41′
Barcelona have already scored five goals or more on eight occasions this season! Surely they will make it nine times tonight? Damage limitation for Pellegrini's men surely?

38′
SHOULD BE FOUR! Barcelona break on the counter-attack as Pedro slides in Villa. The angle is fairly tight as the striker drags his shot wide with Messi inches away from getting a toe to the ball for a tap-in.

36′
Assist Andrés Iniesta Luján

36′
Goal Pedro

36′
3-0! GAME-OVER! Messi's ball to Iniesta is sublime, fooling the whole Malaga defence. Iniesta sees his shot saved by Asenjo but the ball falls to Pedro who has the simple task of slotting the ball into an empty net from 12 yards. Barcelona's 60th goal of the season!

34′
Can Barca score a third before half-time? Will they probably could but at the moment they are toying with this new Malaga team who still look like they need to gel, understandably so.

32′
Close again from Barca with Messi playing a delightful one-two with Iniesta. However he is then left at a tight angle and can only lift the ball over the bar.

31′
On a rare break forward Duda looks to play a ball through to Quincy but the ex-Arsenal striker fails to hold his run and is flagged offside. He will need to do better than that the Ghanian international.

28′
Yellow Card Martín Demichelis

28′
Malaga have decided to try and break up Barca's play with a couple of niggly fouls. This time Demichelis clatters Villa.

27′
Substitution Daniel Alves Adriano

27′
Malaga are seeing a little more of the ball as Adriano replaces the injured Alves.

24′
Alves is down and it looks unlikely that the right-back to continue. It doesn't appear there was a specific foul. It appears the Brazilian has pulled his hamstring.

23′
Barcelona are calmly stroking the ball around the pitch at the moment. Everything looks so easy for them when they play like this. They can score at will.

21′
This really could be another hammering tonight. Malaga need to defend better and keep their concentration.

18′
Assist Messi

18′
Goal David Villa

18′
2-0 BARCA! Clinical finish by Villa but Malaga really cannot afford to defend like that. Xavi and Busquets make lightweight of dispossesing Camacho with Xavi then sliding the ball to Messi who then slips a wonderfully weighted pass to Villa who calmly slots the ball between the 'keeper's legs for his 13th goal of the season. Wonderful.

17′
WOW! XAVI HITS THE BAR! The diminutive genius picks the ball up 25 yards out and gives the ball a good old wack. Asenjo is helpless but the ball smashes back off the crossbar.

16′
PEDRO STINGS THE PALMS OF ASENJO! The wide-man is played in by Xavi and shoots from 20 yards out. It's a decent effort but one that the 'keeper should be saving. He parries the ball into the path of Villa but the Malaga defence mop up well.

14′
Barcelona look like they are going to wreak havoc in the Malaga defence when Messi plays an insightful ball to Iniesta into the box. However, the midfielder uncharacteristically mis-controls the ball which goes out for a goal-kick.

11′
How can Malaga get back into this one? First of all they will need to make sure they don't concede another goal anytime soon. So many teams have come to Camo Nou this season, played well and still been on the end of a thrashing.

9′
Duda comes close to hitting back at Barca instantly. The ball is played to the Portuguese attacker who hits it first time on the left side of the box. He fails to hit the target but Barcelona were certainly under pressure there.

8′
Assist Daniel Alves

8′
Goal Andrés Iniesta Luján

8′
GOL BARCA! Brilliant build up play and a brilliant finish from Iniesta. Alves plays a bouncing ball to the attacking midfielder who is on the edge of the area who hits it first time into the far corner with Asenjo left stranded. Not quite in the top corner but it is an excellent finish.

6′
Their are certainly some interesting angles to this tie tonight, mainly involving Real Madrid. Pellegrini of course managed Real last season but lost both el Clasicos. Also, Baptista has scored a winning goal at Camp Nou before for Real in a 1-0 victory.

4′
Barcelona have their first shot at goal with Abidal storming through and smashing a powerful effort from a tight angle. Unfortunately for the home supporters the ball hits the side netting.

2′
The home side are dominating possession in the early exchanges but no chances as of yet.

1′
Leo Messi and David Villa get us underway here at Camp Nou. Barcelona kicking from right to left and in their traditional red and blue while Malaga wear light blue and white stripes.

Just to confirm, Real Madrid have drawn 1-1 away at Almeria, the same Almeria that Barcelona dismantled 8-0 back in November. The Catalans are at full strength tonight while Malaga include all of their five new January signings in the starting line-up.

Malaga: Asenjo, Gaspar, Demichelis, Weligton, Mtiliga, Maresca, Camacho, Duda, Apono, Baptista, Quincy

Barcelona: Valdes, Alves, Pique, Puyol, Abidal, Busquets, Xavi, Iniesta, Pedro, Messi, Villa

Here come the teams...

Hello and welcome to Goal.com's coverage of the Sunday evening La Liga tie between Barcelona and Malaga from Camp Nou. I'm Luke Matthews and I will be taking you through a game where Barcelona will be hoping to continue their neverending great form and with Real Madrid currently drawing 1-1 with Almeria the Catalans could extend their lead at the top to four points. Malaga on the otherhand have invested well in January and will be hoping their winter signings will help catapult the club into the European places. Can the Andalusian club create a statement of intent here?
