Balotelli with the opening shot! Inches away from breaking the dealdlock. Sneijder sends in a dangerous ball into the middle from the right looking for Milito. The ball goes over his head, but the teenager is behind him and volleys, missing by not much.
For Siena, unfortunately, this will be their last match in the top flight, as they have been relegated. Robur president Massimo Mezzaroma has asked his players to give it their utmost, and spoil the Nerazzurri party, to give their fans something to cheer for before making the drop into Serie B.
The equation is simple for the Nerazzurri: win today, and the Scudetto is theirs. Draw or lose, then all eyes will be on the result of Chievo-Roma. A win for the Giallorossi (and a draw or loss for Inter) will see them claim the Scudetto, but anything else, will cost them the title.
Good afternoon and welcome to the Stadio Franchi in what is the final match of the season, and what anticipation surrounds it! I'm Rick D'Andrea and will be bringing you Goal.com's live commentary of this match.
