And thats it! The referee blows the whistle signalling full time. What a thrilling second half which saw two excellent goals apiece to end the match at 2 2. Everton might feel that they missed on a great chance to win their first away game at Arsenal since Wenger took over. Wenger, meanwhile, would not have been happy about missing out on a chance to go above Man United, and just 1 point behind Chelsea.
Cahill is almost put through, but ends up in a 3 way collision with Traore and Almunia. The game has taken a pause as the physios have come on.
Now Arsenal want a winner. Sagna's cross. Cleared away.
GOAL for ARSENAL!! Another deflection. This time from Lucas Neill. A 92nd minute equalizer! Diaby does brilliantly to weave through the Everton defense and lay off Rosicky. Rosicky's shot takes a wicked deflection and goes beyond Howard into the net.

Rosicky chips it in. But cleared away for a throw. The throw falls to Sagna, whose cross is cleared away.
5 minutes of stoppage time. Here's Arshavin... Well blocked by Heitinga!
Yellow Card Steven Pienaar
Bilyaledtinov takes it. The ball pinballs around the box and goes for another corner. This time, Traore clears it for a corner. But this time, the cycle is stopped as the referee blows for a foul due to some shirt pulling within the box.
Baines takes it. Gallas clears it away. Bilyadetinov picks it up and passes it to Fellaini, whose cross is cleared away by Diaby for a corner.

A rash challenge on Pienaar earns Sagna a Yellow. The first of the game.
Corner for Everton. Biliyadetinov takes it and Pienaar is waiting at the edge of the box. He unleashes a shot, but goes well over.
Substitution Denilson Fran Mérida
Meanwhile, Denilson is injured and comes off for Merida.
And almost another one! This time from McFadden who does a Pienaar, breaks free from the Arsenal defense, but Almunia does well to close down his angles and block the shot.
GOAL!!! What a brilliant counter attack from Everton. Cahill receives the ball in the center of the pitch, holds onto it till Pienaar is away from the defense and all alone. Pienaar receives it, runs with it, waits for Almunia to come out, and then chips it over. 2 1 to Everton.

This time, Arshavin returns the favour, by easily evading Neill and takes a shot. Howard deflects it away for a corner. The ball floats in, pinballs around, and goes for another corner.
Cahill makes a mazy run along the left wing, while holding off Gallas, comes to the edge of the box, and crosses in. Diaby comes in just in time to clear the danger.

Traore with another lovely cross into the awkward 6 yard area. This time, Eduardo fouls Howard while trying to get hold of the ball.
A teasing cross from Traore, lands in that awkward area in the 6 yard box. Eduardo just misses it. So does Howard. And the ball eventually gets cleared for a corner. The shot hits an Everton player and goes for another corner. This time, Vermaelen's shot is blocked brilliantly by Neville, who recovers to tackle another shot from Arsenal. Danger just averted. Just. Albeit temporarily.

The snow has started settling on the pitch. Meanwhile, Donovan has come off after a decent debut.
Oooooh! Almost for Arsenal. With a lovely cross from Sagna. 4 Arsenal players in the box. But Howard just manages to step in and punch it away.
Arsenal unable to make any serious foray into Everton's box in spite of decent possession.

Arsenal make their first change. Its Rosicky on for Ramsey
Donovan takes the corner. Traore clears it. Throw for Everton.
Fellaini... Cahill.. Saha on the edge of the box, with space to shoot.. He pulls the trigger... Deflected and goes for a corner.
The atmosphere has picked up a bit, in an attempt to get Arsenal into their groove. Meanwhile, the snow is making things incredibly difficult for all concerned.
Sagna's neat cross into the box is taken down by Gallas. The referee blows for a foul because of the high foot used.
Pienaar releases Baines on the over lap. Baines cross gets deflected and earns Everton a corner. The ball floats in, and Osman with a free header once again! But this time, no donut as it hits a couple of Arsenal players, and bit of pinball later, gets Arsenal a goal kick.
A lively start to the second half. Donovan easily skips past Traore on the right, cuts in, speedily dribbles his way close to the 6 yard area, looks for a pass. The ball just misses the intended recipient, and goes for a goal kick.
Gallas floats in a good cross from the right, but it goes just over Eduardo and Neville's head. Neville then gets hold of the ball, but the move eventually produces a throw for Arsenal.
Free kick for Everton. 35 yards away. Baines takes it, swings it straight into the hands of Almunia. A quick counter attack from Arsenal ensues, but eventually produces nothing.
Saha and Cahill get things underway in the second half.
And the referee blows the whistle for half time. Everton must be pleased with their performance so far, while Arsenal dont seem to be at their best at all.
Arsenal lose the ball again. Cahill. To Donovan on the right wing. Back to Neville. Who crosses it to Baines on the left. Baines' cross easily gathered by Almunia.
A lose ball from Arsenal picked by Donovan in the center of the pitch. He passes it to Pienaar, who takes it till the edge of the box, but the ball is eventually cleared away for a throw.
Donovan does well to take control of a long cross field ball, then lays it onto the path of Neville. A poor chip means Arsenal get a goal kick.
Arsenal's patient buld up play is proving to be fruitless thanks to some pretty solid backs to the wall defending from Everton
Eduardo makes a nice run into the Everton rearguard from the left wing, keeps going but finally gets locked up between Osman and Fellaini and goes down. Penalty? Referee doesnt think so!
Throw in for Everton very close to Arsenal's goal. Neville takes it, it lands in front of Cahill, who passes it to Pienaar. Gets a touch, but cleared away.
GOAL!!! And thats the equalizer! A neat bit of triangular inter play between Arshavin, Eduardo and Denilson at the edge of the box. And Eduardo tees up Denilson perfectly. His shot takes a big deflection before finding its way into the net.
A bit of pressure from Cahill leads Almunia to miss kick the ball out for a throw. From the throw, Baines' cross into the box is easily gathered by Almunia.
Gallas seems to be in some serious trouble as he is clutching his back. The physio has come on.
Oooooh! So close from Gallas, whose clever run into the box and a shot is saved by a last ditch clearance from Everton. Arsenal's first big chance of the game.
A nice build up from Arsenal with Nasri at the heart of it. He plays a neat one two with Ramsey first, then with Arshavin, but the move is eventually cleared away at the edge of the box.
Nasri plays a nice ball in to Ramsey inside the penalty box. But he s well marked and the ball is cleared away for a throw.
The goal has suddenly spurred Arsenal back to life.
GOAL!!! Saha steals the ball, takes a run and a shot. Deflects off for a corner. The ball floats in, and Denilson on the goal line is unable to clear the header by Osman. 1 0 to Everton!

Pienaar plays a lovely ball through to release Saha, who evades Traore comfortably, and is now all alone at the edge of the box. And then he takes a shot.. Well over and wide. What a chance!
Corner for Everton. Baines takes it short, plays a one two with Pienaar, and chips it weakly straight into the hands of Almunia. Should have done better.
Everton have started off better in these very early stages.
