That is it for Juve's European dream. The Spanish referee blows his whistle and Chelsea go through against 10 man Juventus. What a cracking game played by both teams. An accomplished performance by Juventus, but they allowed themselves to be pegged back on two occasions and they have paid the price. Chelsea march on under Hiddink, while Ranieri is left to pick up the pieces for the Old Lady.

Ohhhhh!!! It could and should have been 3-2 to Chelsea as Buffon makes a brilliant save from Ballack. The German fires a rocket towards goal, but the Italian is there to meet it.
Into the final minute now. Chelsea are trying to keep hold of the ball as they rub more salt into the wounds of the Bianconeri. Four minutes of injury time will be played here in Turin.
The game has lost its rhythm. Only two minutes remain as the fourth official prepares his timing board. Chelsea are on their way to the quarter finals of this year's Champions League.

Drogba, like on so many occasions this season, has rescued his side once more. Juventus, despite playing most of the half with 10 men, have been punished for not taking their chances.

Free Kick Juventus. Bosingwa fouls Giovinco. The youngster steps up...Ohhhhhhhhhhh!!! Del Piero misses from connecting with the ball by inches and Cech is glad to see it come to his arms. A great chance goes begging from the Italians.
Chelsea do not seem interested in going for a second. Hiddink's men are happy to soak up and hit Juve on the break. Giovinco plays a quick one-two with Del Piero, but the move breaks down.
Juve continue to attack. They have to go for it and take the risk. Respite for Chelsea after Grygera fouls Cole on the touchline. Time is running out for the home team.

The Bianconeri are trying hard to find a way through. It's hard though as Chelsea have everyone behind the ball. Ohhhhhhhh!!!!! Great save by Cech to stop it from being 2-1. Sublime skills from Giovinco sees the chance being carved out for Del Piero. The cross comes in from the right, but Cech saves from Trezeguet's glancing header.

Cech is lucky to escape further punishment after a big mix up with Bosingwa. The cross comes in...finds Giovinco...left foot...Nooo!!! It's too powerful and goes well over.
Giovinco comes on and he is looking lively. Juventus are trying hard to get themselves back in with a chance.

Chelsea are not allowing Juve to make any real progress. The English side are experts in defending when necessary and they are suffocating the Italians.
Juve's strike force are looking a little isolated up front. There is no creativity coming from the middle as Del Piero pushes further up field. All quiet at the moment, both teams do not seem in any real hurry to get goals.
Juventus come forward, Molinaro crosses, but Terry is there to head clear. The home side are struggling to get back into the game as Chelsea attempt to run the clock down.

Free Kick to Chelsea after Cole is hacked by Salihamidzic. Lampard takes it...ohhh!!! Buffon is forced to make a much needed save as Ballack was in free and unmarked. The German would have scored had it not been for the save.
Chelsea have come out for the second half to attack Juve. The Blues will not be settling for a 1-1 draw on the night. Hiddink's men are are slowing the tempo right down as they try to frustrate the Bianconeri.

Chelsea come forward with Bosignwa, he finds Ballack...Lampard runs through...No. Not this time as he is flagged for offside. Juventus are playing a risky high line as Ranieri shouts orders from the dug out.
Del Piero has been instructed by Ranieri to play deeper inside Chelsea's half. The Italian striker will now play as a second striker as the Bianconeri try to get back in the lead.
The teams are back out on the pitch and ready to restart. Off we go. Will Juventus complete a miracle comeback? No changes have been made by either coach at half time.
It's half time here in Turin. What a game! Juventus took the lead through Iaquinta on 19 minutes with a well worked move. Chelsea replied right on the death via a quite fortunate goal with Essien grabbing it. It's a major blow for Juventus as they now need two goals to have any chance of progressing to the quarter final. It's 1-1 on the night and 2-1 on aggregate to Chelsea, who have the vital away goal. There is no possibility of a penalty shoot out or extra time either. Juve will need to go for broke in the second half.

Chelsea are back ahead on aggregate. Lampard shot from distance. The ball took a wicked deflection from Thiago, bounced onto the cross bar and the Ghana international was quickest to react.

Buffon makes a miracle save on Drogba's attempt...the ball didn't cross the line, but Chelsea think it did. It was a strange incident...but Buffon made a brilliant save.
Cole crosses, it finds Bosingwa, the cross comes in...Ohhh no. The referee has given a free kick on the edge of the box to Chelsea after Thiago was judged to have touched the ball with his hand. Drogba steps up with Ballack...The Ivorian shoots...Miracle save from Buffon!!! Controversy as the Chelsea players protest.

The Old Lady need to be a little more careful. The Italians are standing off their opponents and Chelsea are able to attack. Anelka comes in wide from the left, plays it to Cole, the cross from Cole comes in for Ballack, but his header is too weak and wide, failing to trouble Buffon.
Juventus have everyone behind the ball. Again, Chelsea are patient with their build up. Lampard spots Drogba's neat run in behind Chiellini, but the linesman blows for offside. It looked harsh on the Ivorian.
Juventus have stepped off the gas and they are allowing Chelsea to come forward. It's a risky game from the Bianconeri. The Blues are taking advantage of Del Piero's mistake...However, it's a lucky escape as Cole's cross is woeful and goes behind goal.

The game has slowed down slightly as Chelsea try to create. Drogba is overzealous on Marchisio and gives away the foul. Buffon is able to pump it up field.

Molinaro attacks the left, cleared by Bosingwa. Chelsea can move the ball around as they desperately try to get back into the game. However, the Blues are wasting possession by handing it back to Juve.
The referee has stopped play. Mikel is down injured after a clash with Salihamidzic. The player is receiving treatment as Juve prepare to get the game back under way.
The Premier League side switch play from left to right...Essien takes on Molinaro, but the Italian is not fooled and wins possession. The stopper plays it back to Buffon.
Chelsea are ball watching at times. Juventus are finding it easy to create good chances.

Hiddink is looking frustrated down on the bench. His side are not playing to their full potential. Juve hold onto the ball. The Bianconeri are trying to find another with some nice patient build-up play.

A wonderful move involving Trezeguet and Iaquinta has given the home side a deserved lead. The Italian played a superb one-two move with Trezeguet who returned the pass and Iaquinta beat John Terry to the ball to fire past Cech. It's a level playing field now.

Chelsea have raised their game. Most of the play from the London side is coming down the left flank as they try to use Cole's pace. Juve win it back though and they can come again...ohhhh! Danger for Chelsea as Molinaro's cross is fired across the box. Cech comes out to claim it.

Chelsea are not looking too bright early on. Big blow for Juve as Nedved cannot continue. He is replaced by Salihamidzic. Molinaro brings the ball forward, but loses possession to Drogba...Buffon saves his shot-cross.
Bosingwa finds Cole on the left, the ball is fed to Drogba...the pass from Cole is over hit and Juventus can clear. Good rhythm from Juve as Chelsea track back.
The game is back underway as Chelsea try to conjure up something. Terry passes back to Cole and the English side hold onto the ball. The pass finds Ballack, but it goes out for a goal kick.
Nedved is back up and receiving treatment on the touchline as Hasan Salihamidzic warms up. The midfielder is in plenty of discomfort as he touches his ribs.
Chelsea are struggling to put any real move together. Nedved challenges Anelka and the Czech midfielder goes down again after a rough tackle from the Frenchman.
Del Piero takes the corner. It's a deep one and Ballack clears. Juve have a throw in. Chelsea clear, another throw in. Juve hold onto possession.
It's been a bright start from the home team. Chelsea have been stopped from attacking as Juve continue to press them. Another corner to Juventus as Essien clears Nedved's cross.
Grygera wins a croner from Cole after a great run down the right. Del Piero goes over to take it. Chiellini rises for the header, but the referee blows for a foul on Drogba. The Ivorian seemed to go down for a nothing challenge as the Italian headed the ball.
Nedved has received a bump to the head and he has come off for further treatment. The game restarts. Chiellini duels with Drogba and the Italian wins the challenge as the ball goes out for a goal kick.
Anelka runs through after Lampard's through ball, Grygera takes it off the Frenchman. Nedved goes down with a problem after Essien's challenge. He is receiving treatment as Chelsea put the ball out of play.
Juventus get the game underway. Trezeguet touches it back to Chiellini who pumps it forward. John Terry clears. Juventus come forward with Molinaro...he crosses for Trezeguet, but the header goes over.
Juventus fans are in good mood as they try to help fire up the team before kick off. Those in the stadium tonight are lucky to have got a ticket as local news reporters from Sky Italia have suggested Juventus could have sold the stadium out four times over.
It's crunch time for Juventus. The 25,000 Olimpico stadium has sold out. 1,500 of those fans have made the trip from London. The atmosphere here in Turin is heating up as the players take part in their pre-match warm-up session. Juventus have never managed to overturn a first leg defeat in the Champions League against English opposition. The Bianconeri failed during the 2004/05 against Liverpool and the same happened a year later against Arsenal. The last time Juve overturned a first leg deficit was in 1996 against Real Madrid. Back then, Marcello Lippi's side went on to lift the trophy.
