That's all from me for this afternoon guys and girls, I hope you enjoyed that entertaining Bundesliga clash as much as I did! Good bye.
FULL-TIME: BAYERN 3-1 HAMBURG The hosts produced a clinical performance inside the penalty area to see off the challenge of van Marwijk's side courtesy of goals from the two Marios – Mandzukic and Gotze – and then Shaqiri late on. Lasogga pulled a goal back for the visitors before Shaqiri completed the scoring in the 93rd minute, but the final scoreline of 3-1 was an accurate reflection of the game as Bayern rarely looked troubled by their opponents.

SHAQIRI MAKES IT 3-1! Bayern's Swiss substitute rounds off a comfortable win for the hosts with a slick finish inside Drobny's near post after racing on to a throughball from midfield. Game, set and match.
90' + 1'
Drobny leaps low to his right to keep out a close-range header from van Buyten. Hamburg have lost their composure a bit here and are misplacing passes with alarming regularity.
The fourth official signals for three minutes of added time.
Despite that goal from Lasogga, Bayern look the more likely side to score another here as the clock ticks on towards 90 minutes.
LASOGGA PULLS A GOAL BACK! The Frenchman nets his eighth goal away from home this season with a thumping strike after being set up well by Jansen. Can Hamburg do a City and pull off a surprise comeback here?
Assist Marcell Jansen
Goal Pierre-Michel Lasogga
Van der Vaart ambitiously lashes the free kick towards goal from 40 yards, but it never looks like troubling Neuer as the Germany international pats the shot down before catching the ball.
The Danish under-19 international tries to help out his defence after losing possession but he succeeds only in fouling Lasogga, which results in a free kick for Hamburg.

Hojbjerg is immediately involved in a Bayern attack over on the left, but he loses the ball eventually to a challenge from Rincon.
Bayern's third and final switch is to bring on Pierre Emile Hojbjerg for the irrepressible Kroos.
Ribery dances past one challenge but is not quick enough to shift the ball away from Djourou just inside the Hamburg box. He so nearly managed to weave past the former Arsenal man there, if he had he would have been in on goal.
What a wonderful goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is. The Bayern shotstopper never looks fazed, regardless of the number of players challenging him for the ball. He has just punched the ball about 40 yards to clear a Hamburg free kick from the right.
Guardiola makes another change as Xherdan Shaqiri replaces Muller, who has been fairly quiet today despite scoring six in his last seven games.
You've got to feel a bit sorry for Rincon. With 15 minutes left to play he is now up against Ribery over on the far side. The Frenchman has looked bright since replacing Gotze and as always has not been shy in taking on his marker.
A CAT-LIKE STOP FROM NEUER! The Germany international pounces to his right to keep out a decent header from van der Vaart following a rare Hamburg attack.
Van Marwijk opts to make his first substitution of the afternoon. Calhanoglu is the man that will trudge off to be replaced by Petr Jiracek.
Elsewhere in the Bundesliga – Dortmund have drawn level against Hoffenheim after being two goals down early on in the game. The score in that match is now 2-2 with 20 minutes to play.
Kroos fizzes a corner from the left in the direction of van Buyten, but he is beaten in the air by Tah. The clearance falls only as far as Thiago 30 yards from goal, but he fails to test Drobny with a rasping strike that goes wide.
Lasogga is not being allowed a sniff by Dante today. The Bayern defender's concentration has not wavered once in this match, in stark contrast to on Tuesday against Manchester City.
An acrobatic effort from Muller at the back post is some way from testing Drobny. Bayern are committing more and more men forward as the game wears on, they look like they fancy a couple more goals in this game.
Some ice-cool defending from Dante averts a brief danger for Bayern, as Lasogga looked to race onto a hopeful punt forward for the visitors. The Brazil international stepped across the striker before turning inside and clearing the ball away.
Gotze, the scorer of Bayern's brilliant second, is making way to be replaced by Ribery for the final half an hour or so of this match. Let's see what the Ballon d'Or candidate can bring to this game!
I'm not one to encourage gambling but someone in a blue shirt should have been attacking a lovely cut-back from van der Vaart a few moments ago. The Dutchman flicked the ball into a dangerous area from the left, but there was not a team-mate in sight to meet the pass.
Ribery is warming up on the sidelines for the hosts as Guardiola looks set to make his first change of the afternoon.
Calhanoglu drifts a cross to Zoua on the right side of the Bayern penalty area, but the attacker's shot is blocked well by Dante, who threw his body in front of the ball as it arrowed towards goal.
STAT: Bayern are hoping to make it 41 Bundesliga games without defeat this afternoon.
Thiago catches van der Vaart on the knee 35 yards from Drobny's goal and the visiting side are given a quite fortuitous free kick by the referee, just as Bayern looked to surge into the Hamburg box.
Calhanoglu whips a free kick over! The Hamburg midfielder demands to take the set piece after a sloppy challenge from van Buyten on Lasogga, but his strike is off-target and the ball whistles a couple of yards over Neuer's crossbar.
Assist Thiago Alcántara
Goal Mario Götze
SUBLIME FROM GOTZE! The Bayern attacking midfielder nets his fourth goal of the season and it is certainly one to remember. Receiving a dinked pass from Thiago with his back to goal he controlled the ball deftly before instantaneously curling a shot past Drobny. Brilliant play from the club's summer signing!
GOTZE GOES CLOSE!! The 21-year-old watches on despairingly as his side-footed strike from 15 yards clips the heel of Djourou and bounces wide of Drobny's goal.
Rafinha keeps the ball in play well on the right and slips it to Kroos in a central position. The German midfielder took a touch before threading a pass towards Mandzukic, but got too much on it and the ball ran all the way out for a goal kick.
Lasogga tries to curl the ball into the far corner past Neuer but he does not get anywhere near enough power on the strike and the Bayern goalkeeper is able to jump to his left and catch the ball.
STAT: Bayern have not lost in the Bundesliga after going ahead for more than 79 games. They have won 74 of those matches and drawn four.
Hamburg get the second half rolling, as they look to overturn a one-goal deficit.
The teams are back out in the chilly open at the Allianz Arena and the second half is almost upon us...
HALF-TIME: BAYERN 1-0 HAMBURG - Guardiola's side took the lead late in the half courtesy of Mandzukic's face, just moments after the same player had wasted a decent opportunity to score. The home side have controlled the tempo of the game in the opening half, but Hamburg defended stoutly until Bayern's breakthrough in the 42nd minute. I can smell more goals in this one, so don't go away!
The referee brings the first half to an end bang on 45 minutes.
Van der Vaart whips a free kick into the Bayern box from over on the right, but Lasogga's header, from a similar position to where Mandzukic missed from in the 39th minute, flicks a header wide of Neuer's goal.
Goal Mario Mandzukic
MANDZUKIC PUTS BAYERN AHEAD!! After fluffing a chance a few moments ago the Croatia international makes amends by using his face to push the ball over the line to make it 1-0. Kroos picked out Rafinha with a divine pass out to the right, and the Brazilian played a good first-time volleyed cross into the box. Mandzukic then showed great alertness to beat Tah to the ball and deflect it past Drobny.
Lahm's search for his first goal of the season does not look like coming to an end anytime soon. The Bayern captain has already shanked a couple of shots from distance some way off target in the first half at the Allianz Arena.
Hoffenheim have added a second goal against Dortmund. They now lead 2-0.
MANDZUKIC NODS WIDE! The Bayern striker has a great chance to put his side in front late in the half as he rises to meet Kroos' cross, but his header flashes wide of the left-hand post.
An over-zealous tackle from Rincon on Contento gifts Bayern a free kick to the left of the Hamburg box. A chance to test the shaky Drobny perhaps?
Rafinha plays a sexy one-two with Gotze before hooking a cross high into the box, but Mandzukic is not on the same wavelength as the marauding right-back as he runs towards the near post rather than meeting the ball on the penalty spot.
Bayern fans will be happy to hear that elsewhere in the Bundesliga there has been a goal in the game between Hoffenheim and Borussia Dortmund, and it has gone to the hosts. Jurgen Klopp's team trail 1-0 in that 2.30pm kick-off.
THIAGO TESTS DROBNY! The Spaniard sends a bouncing effort towards goal that the Hamburg goalkeeper has a spot of bother dealing with, as he parries the ball before falling on top of it.
Neuer makes this goalkeeping lark look all too easy at the set piece as he springs from his line to claim van der Vaart's cross from the left under little to no pressure.
CORNER FOR HAMBURG! Lahm is forced into booting the ball out for a corner after more strong running down the right from Zoua.
A hefty challenge from Lasogga on Contento results in a free kick for Bayern. The 21-year-old hurtled through the back of the left-back in a vague attempt to win the ball but the referee was having none of it.
Tah heads the ball clear to the former Bayern man Marcell Jansen at left-back, but the German's touch is poor, which surrenders possession straight back to the home side in the form of a throw.
STAT: In the last three visits to the Allianz Arena, Hamburg have conceded 20 goals, including the ignominious 9-2 thrashing last time around.
Lovely play from Mandzukic! The Croatia international controls a cross from the right before juggling the ball in the box right in front of Djourou and Tah, before slipping it out to Contento on the left.
SOMEONE NEEDS TO GAMBLE THERE! Zoua pushes down the right and whips a cross into Neuer's box, but there are no blue shirts attacking the ball, which means it bounces out for a goal-kick.
Mandzukic clatters into Zoua and the referee awards the visitors a free kick 40 yards from the Bayern goal. Van der Vaart tries to send an inswinging cross into the box from the set piece but it is headed away neatly by Dante.
Van der Vaart has got to be careful! The Netherlands international was booked in the opening minutes for a ridiculous dive and he has since handled the ball twice and caught Thiago with a rash challenge. The last thing Hamburg need is a player sent off, they're chasing shadows as it is.
TIMELY INTERVENTION FROM DJOUROU! The former Arsenal defender nips in to block an effort from Muller inside the box after Bayern had done well to weave their way into the penalty area.
WASTEFUL FROM BADELJ! The Hamburg midfielder steals the ball brilliantly from Lahm 35 yards out but after pushing the ball forward his shot from 25 yards drags some way wide of Neuer's goal. That was a disappointing effort from the Croat.
Hamburg's players tried to ruffle Bayern's perfectly-arranged feathers early on by flying into a handful of tackles but they did not have the required effect, with Guardiola's side well in control at the moment.
STAT: Claudio Pizarro, who is on the bench for Bayern today, has scored 18 goals in 21 appearances against Hamburg. (via Unibet)
Thomas Muller walks the ball into the back of the net for the hosts but the linesman's flag on the far side is up, and the official has got that decision bang on to be fair. The Bayern attacker was a yard or so offside when he received the ball on the penalty spot.
A series of ricochets off Hamburg defenders nearly play the ball straight into the path of the bustling Gotze, but fortunately for van Marwijk's men the final deflection flicked off Johan Djourou's leg and ran back to Drobny.
Lahm is back in a midfield role for the hosts after being shifted back to full-back for the visit of City during the week. The Bayern captain has looked at home in that position in front of the back four this season and he is impressing again today already, with just 12 minutes on the clock.
SAVE FROM DROBNY!! Mario Gotze tees up Toni Kroos on the edge of the Hamburg box but the Germany international's shot is kept out well by the diving Drobny as it whistles towards the bottom left corner.
STAT: Seven of Pierre Lasogga's eight goals have come away from home for Hamburg this season.
The opening minutes of this game have been littered with fouls from players on both sides. Contento is the latest player to commit an offence, as he cynically blocks Zoua.
And now Drobny follows van der Vaart into the referee's little black book. The Hamburg goalkeeper rushed off his line to put the ball out under pressure from Mandzukic and then had no choice but to block the striker as he looked to take the throw, otherwise Bayern would have had an easy chance to take the lead.
Yellow Card Jaroslav Drobný
Contento strays into an offside position on the left as Bayern try and fashion their first attacking chance of the game. Sloppy timing of the run by the defender!
There's an early yellow card for van der Vaart after he tumbles to the deck in search of a free kick despite there being no contact whatsoever. That's the Dutchman's fourth booking of the season.
Yellow Card Rafael van der Vaart
This is Bayern's last home game in 2013, so expect them to be looking to end the calendar year with a bang. Last season's game between these two sides in Munich finished 9-2 in Bayern's favour. What I would give for a repeat of that scoreline today!
The referee Tobias Welz gets the game started in Munich...
We're just minutes away from kick off over at the Allianz Arena, where both sets of fans are in fine voice for this Bundesliga tie.
Bayern are without long-term absentees Arjen Robben, Holger Badstuber and Bastian Schweinsteiger but have been boosted by recent returns of Xherdan Shaqiri and Claudio Pizarro, both of whom take their place on the bench. Guardiola opts to rest Franck Ribery and David Alaba, as Diego Contento and Daniel van Buyten come in at their expense.
Hamburg captain Rafael van der Vaart returned to training on Tuesday, after recovering from an ankle injury and off-field issues, and he starts in attacking midfield for the away side.
Subs: Neuhaus, Mancienne, Rudnevs, Sobiech, Lam, Jiracek, Tesche
Hamburg (4-2-3-1): Drobny; Rincon, Tah, Djourou, Jansen; Arslan, Badelj; Zoua, van der Vaart, Calhanoglu; Lasogga
Subs: Starke, Ribery, Shaqiri, Pizarro, Kirchhoff, Alaba, Hojbjerg
Bayern (4-1-4-1): Neuer; Rafinha, van Buyten, Dante, Contento; Lahm; Muller, Gotze, Kroos, Thiago; Mandzukic
Without further ado, let's have a quick look at the two starting XIs...
The reigning German and European champions demolished Werder Bremen 7-0 last weekend, while Hamburg fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat at home to Augsburg. The visitors will no doubt look to their talismanic captain Rafael van der Vaart for inspiration this afternoon, as they try and get something from this game against a quite marvellous Bayern side.
Despite that Champions League blip against City, Pep Guardiola's men have been rampant in the league this season, and are unbeaten in their last 40 Bundesliga matches.
My name is Charlie Scott and I'll be guiding you through the twists and turns of this one, as Bert van Marwijk's side take on a Bayern team that suffered a surprise defeat to Manchester City during the week, having won their previous 19 home fixtures.
Good afternoon ladies and gents and welcome to LIVE coverage of today's Bundesliga clash between Bayern Munich and Hamburg at the Allianz Arena.
