Hull City Tigers - Cardiff Preview: Tigers looking for repeat of promotion heroics
Steve Bruce's men are looking to build on their sole Premier League win over Norwich as they prepare for a re-run of the fixture which secured their promotion last term

Hull City Tigers will hope for more heroics when they host Cardiff on Saturday, having secured promotion in last season's corresponding game.
Steve Bruce was put through the wringer as Nick Proschwitz missed a late penalty and Nicky Maynard went up the other end to secure a 2-2 draw, but Watford were unable to capitalise, losing 2-1 at home to Leeds, sealing Hull's place in the top flight alongside the Welsh club.
Cardiff have started the better of the three teams promoted from the Championship and currently sit 11th with four points from their three games, while Hull are in the bottom three - having won once against Norwich, but losing to Chelsea and Manchester City away from home.
Malky Mackay's side beat City at home, while also securing a point against Everton before the international break in a strong start to the season and they will hope to keep that run going, although they have won just five times in 30 visits to east Yorkshire, with Hull having triumphed in 11.
Steven Caulker could return for Cardiff, having withdrawn from England's squad due to an ankle injury, although doubts are held over goalkeeper David Marshall (hip) who was forced off in Scotland's World Cup qualifying win over Macedonia on Tuesday.
Andreas Cornelius (ankle) is definitely out, while Craig Conway will also not feature, having been omitted from Cardiff's 25-man Premier League squad.
The Scottish winger scored the goal to seal Cardiff's Championship title in a 1-1 draw at Burnley in April, but has featured in just 35 minutes of August's Capital One Cup win over Accrington Stanley.
Mackay is confident that Conway, who submitted a transfer request last season in his search for regular first-team football, will respond to the snub in the best possible manner.
He said: "This was not a cold hard decision. Me and my staff sat down and chatted. We looked right across the squad and tried to come up with the correct balance and we believe we have done that.
"But also I believe it is for the best for Craig too. He is player who is really establishing himself with Scotland at international level under Gordon (Strachan).
"To do that he will need to be playing games and that was going to prove difficult here."
Scottish duo Allan McGregor (groin) and George Boyd (ankle) should be available for Hull, despite missing international duty, while Sone Aluko is struggling with a hamstring injury and Yannick Sagbo will serve the last game of a three-match ban.
However, Abdoulaye Faye could return, having come through a reserve fixture in the week, much to Bruce's delight.
"I would never want to pick out individuals but one of the big reasons we're at the level we are today was big Abdoulaye," Bruce told The Hull Daily Mail.
"He was terrific in those last few months of the season. It's great to see him back with all the experience that he brings. That’s a great help to us and he comes back into a very strong part of our squad."
Gedo will not be fit to make his second Hull debut, however, after returning for a second loan from Al Ahly.
