Surprise, surprise, Barcelona superstar Neymar has praised fellow Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi!

Messi controversially won the Golden Ball at the World Cup - despite impressive displays from the likes of James Rodriguez and Arjen Robben - but Neymar believes his club-mate was among the finest players at the tournament.

"I don't know whether it was fair or not but, for me, he was one of the best players in World Cup," he told Rede Globo. "At least in the top three, anyway."

LIVERMORE BACKS INCE'S INTER SNUB

Tom Ince surprised many when he decided to turn down a move to Italian giants Inter Milan in order to link up with Steve Bruce's side in this transfer window.

That's right, Liverpool are yet to dip into the £70m they received for selling Luis Suarez to Barcelona and the Daily Mail report that they are ready to spend £40m (!!!!!) of it on Karim Benzema.
