Inter continue to dominate Serie A as they defeated Bologna 3-1 away. Diego Milito gave them the lead in the 22nd minute but Zalayeta equalised just a minute later. Mario Balotelli put the Nerazzurri back in front just before half time and then Esteban Cambiasso scored in the second half.

Juventus have lost another striker to injury with the news that David Trezeguet will be out for a month after damaging his calf muscle in training. As a result, the Frenchman will miss the crucial clash against Inter, as he is unlikely to return until the new year.
