Vissel Kobe confirms capture of Theerathon Bunmathan

The left footer who is also a Thai international is the second player in this window to leave Muangthong for Japan, after his team mate Teerasil Dangda signed a similar loan deal with Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

Including Theerathon and Teerasil, there's also the diminutive presence of Chanatip Songkrasin flying the Thai flag in Japan's top division.

Despite securing the loan stint, Theerathon will still feature for Muangthong in their AFC Champions League playoff, coincidentally against a Japanese club in Kashiwa Reysol who will be the first club there to witness his prowess first hand.

Over in Vissel, Theerathon will share a place in the squad with another famous left footer, former Arsenal and Bayern Munich man - Lukas Podolski.
