Mathoho makes 150th appearance for Kaizer Chiefs

Mathoho has been enjoying himself under Steve Komphela, and the Amakhosi coach repaid him with his 150th appearance for the club on Saturday night

Eric Mathoho made his 150th official appearance for Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday night as Steve Komphela's side visited Stellenbosch FC in the Nedbank Cup.

The South Africa international hit the ground running as soon as he joined Amakhosi from Bloemfontein Celtic in 2012.

Tower, as he's afftectionately known, formed a solid partnership with Tefu Mashamaite when Chiefs last won the league title under former coach Stuart Baxter in the 2014/15 season.
