As for his club-mate most suited to playing in the game, he said: “It's got to be Francis Coquelin. Not because of his size, but because of his natural aggression and desire to win at all costs.”

Winks is in agreement with his Arsenal rival but gave Harry Kane his backing as a player who could success in the NFL.

“The Patriots have to win. I don’t know too much about Tom Brady but from what I’ve heard, he is a top player who can win the game for them," he added.

“I think Harry Kane would probably be a team-mate that could make it in the NFL. He has great technique when striking the ball so there’s no reason why he couldn’t be a top place kicker."
