The Camp Nou great has picked out a trio of players in the current squad who he thinks will be able to fill his boots when he departs this summer

Andres Iniesta believes that Barcelona have the quality within their squad that will allow them to successfully replace him.

The Spain international will depart Camp Nou at the end of the season after 22 years at the club, including 16 in the first team, with a move to Japan or China on the agenda for the man who played 674 games for Barca.

While there are doubts over who will take his place at the Catalan giants, Iniesta is sure that the club will be able to find a way of getting by without him.

“In the team, there are still players like Philippe Coutinho, Denis Suarez or Alena, who have a lot of quality,” he said.

Despite being photographed sat alone in the middle of the Camp Nou pitch late into the night, Iniesta is turning his thoughts towards the World Cup with Spain after being named in Julen Lopetegui's 23-man panel for the competition.

“Now it’s time to make a great World Cup,” he said. “It’s going to be a nice challenge.”

Barca gave him a fitting send off, defeating Real Sociedad 1-0 thanks to a goal from Coutinho.
