Huddersfield Town will ’fight’ for English Premier League stay – Steve Mounie

Huddersfield Town will ’fight’ to stay in English Premier League, according to Steve Mounie.

The Terriers are four points above the relegation zone following their 1-1 stalemate with Brighton & Hove Albion at the AMEX Stadium on Saturday.

And the 23-year-old has declared that David Wagner’s men will not relent on their effort to remain in the division next season.

“A lot of teams are in the struggle [to stay up] and we are in the struggle, so we will fight to the end,” Mounie told Huddersfield Examiner.

“It will be a great fight against a lot of teams, and we will see which teams will stay.

“The Brighton game was important and in the next games we will try and take the points and hope the others don’t take points.”

The forward has scored nine goals across all competitions this season, including his strike against Brighton last weekend.

He will be hoping to continue the impressive form when Huddersfield take on Watford in their next league game on April 14.
