EXTRA TIME: Watch former Bidvest Wits keeper Wayne Roberts wants to coach

ShareClose Comments
The former South African youth international was interviewed by Gershawn Coetzee on GC Productions

Wayne Roberts was trending on social media for all the wrong reasons this week.

So, Coetzee spoke to him and they've released the following video on Facebook.

Roberts is still playing goalkeeper, this time in the over-35 age group at amateur level. Coetzee asks Roberts some tough questions about his past and present. One of those is about whether he was arrested for drug possession and Roberts has an interesting denial.

The former Wits and Orlando Pirates player also points out that he wants to get into coaching, and he is going through his coaching badges now.

That's quite different from the incorrect rumours about him on Twitter.
