The world's greatest two stars got knocked out of the Fifa World Cup in the last 16 stage. Both of them were aiming to place their names high up in the lights with the best the tournament has ever produced.
Unfortunately, Brazil's Ronaldo has been named the best World Cup player in this century. That means we are not counting players from the previous century such as Pele and Diego Maradona.
