New AmaZulu player Pinehas Jakob believes that he is going to bring smiles to AmaZulu fans and management by banging in the goals and winning trophies

The Namibian born player told Goal exclusively that he is looking forward to helping Usuthu taste victory.

“I only have one goal and that is to win cups and help AmaZulu finish in the top four of the league. This may sound impossible, but I believe that if we can work together as a team and put in the extra effort then nothing is impossible,” said Jakob.

Although Jakob might still have to prove himself for the starting eleven, he said hard work and commitment is what will earn him a spot as a regular in the Craig Rosslee setup.

“I am a very hard worker and I know that there is competition within the club and that is why I am working twice as hard as my peers, so that I stay and perform beyond expectations,” he said.

Having featured in the Namibia squad that participated in the Cosafa Cup, the 27-year-old said he is adapting well to South African football and hopes to use the experience when he returns to his national team.

“I am really learning a lot here, especially in terms of tactics and the importance of movement as we attack as a team.

“I have always enjoyed attacking and I am hoping that with that ability I will be able to bring great things for the club,” he said.
