thumbnail Hello,

SuperSport United veteran striker Sibusiso Zuma told Goal that he is not ready to retire after another long season with injuries

Zuma was one of the most impressive players on the field during the Nedbank Cup final, despite his advanced years, he still managed to run the entire 90 minutes and gave his best for United.

“My body is still okay, so I am hoping that I will be making my return back to the PSL (after the latest injury). Although that will be the call from the coaches to make, from my side I feel that I am fit to give it another run,” he said.

The former Bafana star unfortunately lost 1-0 to Chiefs back at his home city of Durban.

“We gave it our best. I am disappointed, as we really put a lot of hard work ahead of this match and to just loose like that is not nice. All in all it has been a great season full of ups and downs, but at the end of the day we must not be too hard on ourselves as well, as we were doing a lot of traveling,” he said.
