Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium to host the Nedbank Cup final

SuperSport United will host Kaizer Chiefs in the Nedbank Cup final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on May 25

Moses Mabhida Stadium has been announced as the venue for this year’s Nedbank Cup final between Kaizer Chiefs and SuperSport United on Saturday, May 25. The kick-off is at 15h00.

This iconic stadium is regarded as a neutral venue for both sides although Chiefs will certainly be happy to go Durban, because they have a lot of supporters as compared to SuperSport United.

This is the second successive final to be hosted in Durban following the Telkom Knockout Cup final between Mamelodi Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic late last year.

The draw of the Nedbank Cup was conducted before the announcement of the venue, to determine the home and away team even though the venue is neutral.

Matsatsantsa as the home team, will have the first choice of the change rooms, preferential kit colours and the time of practice.
