It's David vs Goliath in the Nedbank Cup semifinals

The Nedbank Cup semifinal draw was conducted at the PSL offices on Monday. Chiefs take on United, and Stars will play defending champions SuperSport
With only four teams left in the Nedbank Cup tournament, the draw for the semifinals was conducted at the PSL offices in Parktown on Monday.

The PSL's Kaizer Chiefs, SuperSport United, Platinum Stars and the NFD side United FC were all waiting for their next opponents.

As many would have wished, Kaizer Chiefs will play host to United FC while Platinum Stars will have another mountain to climb as they will face defending champions SuperSport United in the other semifinal.

Kaizer Chiefs fans may consider their game against United FC a walk in the park, but it certainly is not going to be, as the North West-based side beat Chippa United and Jomo Cosmos on their way to the semifinals.

The Platinum Stars-SuperSport United game will offer Gavin Hunt an opportunity to have a closer look at Thuso Phala and Enocent Mkhabela, who will both join Matsatsantsa at the end of the season.

Dates and venues for the semifinals are still going to be confirmed by the PSL.
