AmaZulu have lost their case against second division club, Tembu Royals which means, Royals will now proceed to the Last 16 and take on Maritzburg United
The Premier Soccer League club had lodge a complaint over Royals player Zukisa Ginya who was accused of registering with his brother’s younger identity document.
The Arbitrator last night dismissed AmaZulu’s case with costs. This means that Tembu Royals will play Maritzburg United in the Nedbank Cup Last 16 at a date still to be confirmed by the PSL.
Tembu Royals coach Lwandile Magula, told Goal.com that he knew that, they had no case and they were going to win it.
“We knew that there was no case. We are still prepared to take on Maritzburg United and all our players are ready to play. I must say that our fans have been very loyal and supportive and I like to thanks them for that.
“I don’t think this will have much impact on our performance because it is something that we had taken seriously as we had continued with our training schedules as planned,” said Magula.
