Coach Craig Rosslee has revealed that he has ordered his soldiers to mix it up, when they take on Free State Stars in the Telkom Knockout on Saturday

Over the years, Steve Komphela’s Free State Stars side have proven difficult to crack in their territory. Many a visiting team have found Stars’ awkward style and hard running tricky to figure out.

So Usuthu coach Rosslee is not taking anything for granted when you consider they have started so well in the Premier Soccer League. This is a whole new ball game.

“We know Stars are a physical side. Since they are playing at home, they would pose a threat to us. The guys know we cannot be bullied off the park. We have got to mix it up,” said Rosslee.

The former Ajax Cape Town coach Rosslee said he was taking comfort that the Durban side has been playing well lately.

Usuthu have recorded two wins and a draw away from home where they dominated the opposition. This has seen the team grow in confidence and most players are motivated to reap the rewards.

“Our form in away matches has been encouraging. We need to transfer that in the Telkom Knockout as well. There will be a few variations in terms of our approach,” he said.
