Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have been kept apart in the semifinals of this year's MTN8 competition to set a prospect of a Soweto Derby final on September 20.

The Buccaneers will be away to Bidvest Wits in the first semi-final, while the AmaKhosi will travel to holders Platinum Stars in the other match.

Dikwena dumped Mamelodi Sundowns in the quarterfinals, while Chiefs thumped Mpumalanga Black Aces on Sunday afternoon, to book their places in the last four.

On the other hand, Pirates eliminated SuperSport United on Saturday night, while the Students needed penalties to march on to the semi-finals for the second successive season.

The first leg of the semifinals will take place on the 16th and 17th of August with the return leg scheduled for the weekend of the 23rd and 24th of August 2014.
