Moloi warns Platinum Stars not to park the bus against Orlando Pirates

Pirates recorded a double over Dikwena in the league last season, but this is certainly going to be a different ball game

Orlando Pirates assistant coach Tebogo Moloi has warned Dikwena not to park the bus when the two teams meet in the MTN 8 final on Saturday night.

Moloi, who has been working closely with head coach Roger de Sa, believes participating in the Caf Champions League has helped them become a better team against the local sides.

“Chiefs parked the bus against us and they paid the price. That is why they are not in the final as we speak. I think the Caf Champions League experience is helping us. You could see that we went for a broke against Chiefs,” said Moloi at a press conference in Durban.

Although the Buccaneers are favourites to lift this year’s MTN 8 trophy, it is certainly not going to be easy especially against the team that has been scoring goals for fun of late.

And Moloi admits Dikwena have been scoring goals, but says they have been scoring against “teams of not championship material”.

“Yes, Platinum Stars have been scoring goals, but they have been scoring against teams of not championship material. I am certain that it will be different against us,” he said.
