Bilankulu was speaking ahead of their MTN 8 first semi-final clash against Platinum Stars in Rustenburg on Sunday afternoon.
“Winning is the only thing that our coach has taught us since he came in. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a cup game or a friendly game, but we need to win,” Bilankulu told Goal.
The Clever Boys have not won a single trophy since their Nedbank Cup success back in 2010 when they defeated AmaZulu 3-0 at the FNB Stadium, and Bilankulu says they are hungry for silverware.

“Having said that I think it is not only Gavin [Hunt] who wants to win silverware with Wits, because the players are as hungry for silverware as the coach,” he said.
Bilankulu was part of the Golden Arrows team that won the MTN 8 trophy in style back in 2009 [beating Ajax Cape Town 6-0 in the final] and he wants his second MTN 8 medal with Wits.“I would also want to win it again having won it in style with Arrows in 2009, but we first need to get past Platinum Stars this coming weekend,” added Bilankulu.
