Bidvest Wits head coach Gavin Hunt has told Goal that their MTN 8 semi-final clash against Platinum Stars is not going to be a walk in the park.

Wits will play host to Dikwena in the first leg of this year’s competition, and Hunt says he is looking forward to a great game of football.

“It’s a good draw for us. I think we would have drawn any of the three teams. Platinum Stars is going to give us a tough game, but we are looking forward to it,” Hunt told Goal.

Hunt has set his sights on the MTN 8 trophy with the Clever Boys having failed to win it while at SuperSport United in the past six years, and he believes Wits stand a good chance of lifting the trophy this season.

“I have been to too many semi-finals as a coach with SuperSport United and this is a chance for me to go all the way to the final [of MTN 8].

“I came to Wits to win trophies and now that we are in the semi-finals, I think we have a chance of lifting the trophy,” added Hunt.
