The AmaKhosi midfielder says they are willing to win every trophy on offer this season, but admits that it won’t be easy

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siyabonga Nkosi has revealed that all the players understand what is expected of them ahead of the 2013/2014 PSL season.

Nkosi said they want to emulate last season’s performance if not improve on it, but he admitted that AmaTuks will not be pushovers in the MTN 8.

“We have sat as a team and discussed our ambitions going to the 2013/14 PSL season. We want to perform better than we did last season.

“There is a lot at stake and Tuks is one of the challenges we have to get past to achieve our ambitions,” Nkosi was quoted on the Chiefs website.

AmaKhosi were last season, knocked out of the MTN 8 in the first round, but Nkosi said they want to win the trophy this season and that they are up for the challenge.

“We want to win everything on offer this season starting with the MTN 8. In my opinion it is the toughest cup competition in the league, but we will be up for the challenge,” said Nkosi.

AmaKhosi will begin their PSL title defence against Mpumalanga Black Aces on Friday night before hosting AmaTuks in the MTN 8 on August 10.
