FC Twente have completed the signing of Kamohelo Mokotjo on a four-year deal from Eredivisie rivials PEC Zwolle, the club confirmed on Friday morning.
Mokotjo has heavily been linked with a move away from Zwolle in recent weeks, with Ajax Amsterdam also thought to be interested in his services.
However, FC Twente tabled a concrete offer for the South Africa international earlier this week and the player completed his move.
Zwolle's technical director Gerard Nijkamp admitted that the club will certainly miss Mokotjo, both as a player and as a good character in the ranks, but he's glad that they gave him a platform to make a name for himself.
Mokotjo helped Zwolle to two major trophies - the Dutch Cup and Dutch Super Cup - in the last four months, and he'll be looking to do the same at Twente.
