thumbnail Hello,

TSG Hoffenheim are ready to listen to offers for Musona, who doesn't form part of their plans going forward, Goal understands

Goal has learnt that Kaizer Chiefs are still in the race to sign Knowledge Musona despite reports of him training with Spanish club Granada FC.

According to sources at Naturena, the 24-year-old striker is only training with Granada having completed his rehabilitation and he's not fully recovered to resume intensive training.

It is, however, confusing as to why Musona is training with the Spanish outfit if they're not interested in signing him when he can rejoin his TSG Hoffenheim teammates.

As things stand, Musona belongs to Hoffenheim, but a loan move back to AmaKhosi, with an option to buy, is still on the cards and could be completed as soon as possible.

Goal reported that Chiefs and Hoffenheim had an agreement until the end of July that Musona will return to South Africa if there are no European offers for his services.

However, it later emerged that the player had requested an extended time to weigh-up his options before making his final decision.

It's an open secret that the Zimbabwe international wants to play in Europe, and will return to Chiefs only when he feels he has failed to secure a move back to Europe.
