Manyisa: I'm staying at Orlando Pirates

The 26-year-old Manyisa has been linked with a move away from Pirates in recent weeks, but he has now told his side of the story
Orlando Pirates midfielder Oupa Manyisa has confirmed that he's staying with the club despite reports of him going to rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

Ace, as Manyisa is affectionately known, revealed that his future lies with the Soweto giants for at least another season. He's been reported to be unsettled at Pirates.

"I'm staying (at Pirates)," Manyisa told reporters gathered at the Rand Stadium ahead of their MTN 8 clash against SuperSport United on Saturday night.

Asked if he has renewed his contract with Pirates, Manyisa revealed that he still has to meet with the club's chairman Dr Irvin Khoza to discuss it.

"I still have to meet with the chairman," the diminutive midfielder responded.

Goal reported over a week ago that Manyisa's contract with Pirates will only expire at the end of June 2015, with his agent Thabo Moloto also dismissing reports of his client leaving the Sea Robbers.
