Sundowns' interest in midfielder Keagan Dolly has been exclusively confirmed to Goal, by the player's agent Paul Mitchell, managing director of Siyavuma Sports Group
However, the reigning Absa Premiership champions are eager to re-sign their former development academy player.
"Yes, of course but contrary to reports in some media, there's nothing agreed officially between the two (Ajax and Sundowns) clubs at the moment," Mitchell told Goal.
At some point during this transfer window, Pirates were believed to be the favorites to land his signature, with Ajax and Bucs doing a swap deal involving midfielder Aubrey Ngoma.
While on the other hand, the 21-year-old former South Africa national under-20 winger has already expressed his desire to join his childhood team, Chiefs.
Nonetheless, Sundowns have engaged the Urban Warriors and the Johannesburg-born midfielder could soon be relocating back to Gauteng.
The gifted left-sided attacker is still contracted to Ajax until 2016.
