Former Jomo Cosmos defender Gladwin Shitolo has officially signed for Orlando Pirates.

The news was confirmed to Goal by Cosmos' team manager Andrew Rabutla when asked about the 24-year-old former Ezenkosi defender.

Shitolo parted ways with the NFD club a while ago, but had to take Cosmos to the PSL DRC in order to get his clearance and move on with his football career.

He becomes one of the many players that Pirates have signed from lower divisions of South African football in the current Transfer Window.

Shitolo is expected to join his new teammates immediately to prepare for the upcoming campaign that will see them participate in the Caf Confederation Cup.

The former under-23 player was initially linked with a move to Polokwane City, but Bucs came knocking for his signature soon before he was signed by Rise and Shine.
