Masango continues with Chiefs after turning down Swallows

Kaizer Chiefs winger Mandla Masango's future at Amakhosi remains unclear, despite being part of the club's pre-season preparations, Goal can confirm
The dribbling wizard had a poor campaign last season, making only four Absa Premiership appearances for the Glamour Boys.
His agent Walter Mokoena was quoted in the media, stating that his client would be moving away from the Naturena-based outfit after the season ended.
Just recently the 24-year-old winger was heavily linked with a move to Moroka Swallows, which he turned down according to Goal sources. Masango did not want to join the Birds on loan.
Goal spoke exclusively to Chiefs corporate communications manager Vina Maphosa, regarding the player's future at the club.
"Well, what I can tell you is that Mandla is part of our training camp at the moment. We are about to play a practice match as we speak," Maphosa told Goal.
"Regarding him leaving or being transfer-listed, we haven't heard anything from the football department," he said.
"So yes, Mandla is part of our preparations for the upcoming season at the moment. However, I can't make any guarantees as to whether he's staying or leaving," he concluded.
The Kwaggafontein-born player is reportedly on the wanted-list of PSL trio SuperSport United, Moroka Swallows as well as Ajax Cape Town.

However, Masango still has one year left on his Chiefs contract.
