Moroka Swallows have completed the signing of Kevin Omondi from Kenyan club Gor Mahia on a two-year contract, Goal can confirm.

The Dube Birds CEO Leon Prins confirmed the news to Goal, saying that the attacking midfielder will arrive at the Dobsonville club in the upcoming days.

"He's our player and he will soon join us," Prins told Goal.

Omondi is known for his explosive runs forward, and he could be the main man at Swallows should he quickly adapt to Zeca Marques' system.

He can also play in a more cetral role, a position that Swallows desperately need to fill following the departure of Giorgi Nergadze and Asavela Mbekile to Bidvest Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns respectively.

The Kenyan international becomes Swallows' third signing, following the acqusition of Philani Cele and Lucky Baloyi both on loan from Kaizer Chiefs.
