thumbnail Hello,

AmaKhosi fans are expecting to see new players next season, and Motaung highlighted that the club already know their targets for the new season

Kaizer Chiefs football manager Bobby Motaung has confirmed that the club could reveal their targets for this winter transfer window by next week.

The Soweto giants have played their cards close to their chest recently, with Knowledge Musona the only player they've publicly shown interest in.

Speaking on Metro FM on Friday night, Motaung said AmaKhosi fans shouldn't expect big name players next season, as the technical team wants to promote a few young players from their development.

The Naturena outfit wanted to sign Mamelodi Sundowns striker Edward Manqele at the beginning of the year, but they haven't returned with a fresh bid.

Chiefs coach Stuart Baxter said that they will be focusing on reinforcing their front line with two or three new faces to try and challenge for honours next season.

AmaKhosi have Kingston Nkhatha, Katlego Mphela, Mathew Rusike and Bernard Parker. They could find themselves short of options upfront if they fail to add to that number next season.
