SuperSport United have entered the race to sign talented Ajax Cape Town playmaker Keagan Dolly, with a hefty pay rise on the cards
The 21-year-old has been ever-present for the Urban Warriors, having started the majority of games for the Cape side and has shown his quality throughout a largely unsuccessful season for the team.
Dolly was linked to the likes of Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows earlier this season, with Mamelodi Sundowns said to be another interested party, though according to reports, Dolly would favour a club like United, where he would be considered a first team regular.
Matsatsantsa have already secured the services of Clayton Daniels and Michael Morton ahead of next season, both signing pre-contracts midway through the current campiagn, but the Pretoria club are said to be looking for further signatures, as Dolly appears to be their number one target.
A versatile player, Dolly is able to play upfront, adding fuel to the fire that Senegalese striker Mame Niang, who has fallen out of favour with coach Cavin Johnson, may be heading elsewhere next season.
With SuperSport looking to rebuild and Ajax slipping off the pace, Dolly could well consider a move back to Gauteng to further his career, which looks set for big changes over the coming years, if the rumours are to be believed.
