Mamelodi Sundowns have finally confirmed the signing of Zimbabwe international Kudakwashe Mahachi from Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League (ZPSL) side Chicken Inn

The 20-year old winger played a pivotal role recently when Zimbabwe humiliated Malawi 4-1 in an international friendly on Wednesday, where Mahachi scored a brace for the Warriors.

"Ironically, prior to the match the Zim star was involved in an accident together with two other teammates from The Warriors. The other two players were Peter Moyo and Milton Ncube, but the trio escaped with minor injuries and even managed to star in the match," the statement read on the official Sundowns site.

The left-footed player who is currently on loan at ZPSL side Highlanders, will join the Brazilians in July this year. 'Bosso' as he's affectionately known, reportedly attracted a lot of interest from European teams during the 2014 Chan tournament in South Africa.

"The 2014 Chan star in currently on loan to from The Brazilians to Zimbabwean giants, Highlanders, in spite of reports that the player is struggling to find a home. In fact the player has made a handful of appearances for the team also known as ‘Bosso’," Sundowns stated.
