Talks between arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates regarding want-away Lehlohonolo Majoro have reportedly taken place on Tuesday, after a few postponements. Majoro's agent Tim Sukazi also revealed that his client will definitely join Bucs this week. Amakhosi are also said to be negotiating with Sundowns regarding striker Katlego Mphela's early release from his Downs' contract which will come to an end in June. Both strikers have signed pre-contracts with the soweto giants, Pirates and Chiefs.
Czech Republic club, Slavia Prague, have reportedly invited Moroka Swallows defender Roger Da Costa for an assessment in Turkey this week, where the team is currently camping. The 27-year-old player has enjoyed some regular game time this season, under coach Zeca Marques. Da Costa's Swallows contract will expire in June this year, and he's illegible to sign a pre-contract with any team and Swallows could decide to sell him to Prague now. Prague is the same team that is currently negotiating personal terms with Kaizer Chiefs left back Keegan Ritchie, after Amakhosi and the Czech side reached an agreement earlier this month.
Maritzburg United captain Micheal Morton has signed pre-contract with SuperSport United. This was officially confirmed by the SuperSport United official twitter account on Wednesday. The 24-year-old former Orlando Pirates midfielder joins a long list of players who have signed pre-contracts with Matsatsantsa during the current transfer window.
These players are Bloemfontein Celtic centre back Clayton Daniels and Ajax Cape Town left back Thato Mokeke who will both join Matsatsantsa in July.
OFI Crete defender Lincoln Zvasiya who's on loan from PSL champions Kaizer Chiefs until June 2014 could be recalled early by his club Amakhosi. Chiefs PRO Vina Maphosa has reportedly revealed that the team will decide soon, whether to recall the Zimbabwean centre back or not. Amakhosi are currently preparing for the Caf Champions League and their technical team need a pool of players to select from as they will be participating in three competitions at the same time soon, namely the Nedbank Cup, Absa Premiership and the Caf Champions League.
