Former Sundowns and English Championship side Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Sean Roberts, has reportedly signed a six month contract with NFD side, Chippa United. The Durban-born keeper has been clubless since leaving Ajax Cape Town in October. Roberts made 33 appearances for the Urban Warriors during his five year stint with the team.
Bidvest Wits are reportedly willing to offer young forward Bhongolwethu Jayiya as part of a swap deal that will include Ajax Cape Town defender Thulani Hlatshwayo, who is set to join The Students in July after signing a pre-contract with them. It has now been revealed that Wits are currently negotiating an early release of the 24-year-old defender, as his still contracted to Ajax until the end of June 2014, and on the other hand Ajax are also keen on acquiring Soweto-born winger Jayiya's services.
New KV Oostende midfielder Andile Jali, will not be replaced by Orlando Pirates. Bucs administrative manager Floyd Mbele has reportedly insisted that the club won't be shopping for a replacement in the current PSL transfer window. The Bafana Bafana international signed a three year deal with an option to extend for another two years.
Polokwane City coach Boebie Solomons has reportedly invited former Ajax Cape Town forward Alcardo van Graan for talks regarding a possible move to the PSL side. The 27-year-old has been playing for NFD side Milano United and he's well known for scoring a memorable goal against English Premiership giants Manchester United in a friendly match two years ago in Cape Town.
