Orlando Pirates have confirmed that the club gave Andile Jali the green light to go and have his medical with Belgian side KV Oostende.
Jali, who played the entire 90 minutes in Bucs' 1-1 draw against AmaZulu on Thursday, left the country last night (Friday), although Mickey Modisane, the Pirates' media man, is uncertain how long Jali will be away for.
"As Orlando Pirates, we are aware that Andile has traveled to Belgium to have his medicals. The club, and the chairman gave the go ahead," Modisane told Goal.
"The player left the Bucs camp on Friday morning, but I am not sure how long he will be away for because the chairman has been handling this deal himself," he said.
It remains to be seen whether Jali will be available for Pirates' next assignment against Ajax Cape Town or not, as the deal is set to be finalized as soon as he passes his medical tests.
