Ajax Cape Town has lost the services of Lebogang Manyama to SuperSport United after the Urban Warriors agreed to sell the Bafana midfielder to the Tshwane outfit.
The 23-year-old is expected to sign a three-and-a-half year deal with Matsatsantsa having turned down a move to Kaizer Chiefs about two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, Nhlanhla Shabalala has also left Ajax Cape Town for AmaZulu. Shabalala also penned a three-and-a-half year contract with Usuthu as they look to stay within touching distance of the log leaders.
It has been quiet in the Chiefs' camp, although a few players are expected join the PSL champions as they aim to take Africa by storm in 2014.
Bobby Motaung publicly confirmed that AmaKhosi are interested in George Maluleka and Edward Manqele, but they haven't concluded anything yet.
AmaKhosi have, in the meantime, extended the contracts of their important players including that of their coach Stuart Baxter.
The 60-year-old mentor signed a two-year extension to his current contract which was set to expire at the end of June next year.
Willard Katsande and Eric Mathoho's contract renewals were also announced last week, as Chiefs look to keep their best players for the next three seasons.
At Sundowns, captain Alje Schut also renewed his contract for a further one year. His initial contract was set to expire at the end of the season.
Orlando Pirates are thought to have signed Mozambican forward Helder Pelembe, but the Buccaneers have since denied those reports saying nothing has been signed although there's a huge possibilty that Pelembe might end up in Parktown.
