Mabizela finally signs for Mpumalanga Black Aces

Following Goal’s article about Mbulelo Mabizela considering a move to Black Aces or Pirates, the former club has finally clinched the deal
The talented defender penned a one year contract with the Mpumalanga club after rendering his services for Chippa United last season.

Mabizela had attracted the eyes of Orlando Pirates as well, but is still excited about his move to Aces.

"The move is an exciting one for me. Obviously I’m happy to have joined Black Aces. They have a professional set up here, great facilities and every player will be excited joining a team of this calibre," he told the clubs official website.

Despite controversy off the field, the former Bafana captain made it clear that he is there to concentrate on his football.

"I’m just here to do my job, which is playing football to the best of my abilities. I’ve played for lots of clubs in my career before joining Aces and I know what is expected from a professional player."

"I just want to continue with my professional career and keep working hard at training to make sure I help the team in its objectives. I still have a lot to offer and it will show during my stay here at AmaZayoni. We have a great squad here, especially the defenders and that will certainly push me to work even extra hard to earn a starting berth in the team" he said.
