Kaizer Motaung has revealed that the AmaKhosi will strengthen their squad to compete in the next Caf Champions League as PSL holders of South AfricaDefending Premier Soccer League champions Kaizer Chiefs only added one first team player to their double-winning side, Zimbabwean Knowledge Musona.
Even though coach Stuart Baxter has dealt wisely with keeping mostly a winning-team intact, the AmaKhosi management are aware that they will need to reinforce the squad to deal with the extra fixtures in a Caf Champions League campaign.
Chiefs owner Motaung confirmed that the club will definitely strengthen the squad.
"That is an issue we are working on. We are in the process of strengthening the team in the areas that we have identified," Motaung told Times Live.
"We definitely need players and a more competitive team going to the African Champions League because there will be a congestion of fixtures.
"We will be making an announcement once the process is complete. It will be a solid team that will also make the country proud," he said.
